Are you a nursing clinical professional interested in learning more about precepting? This series offers introductory skills designed for clinicians interested in a role as clinical educators within their practice.
Clinical professionals (e.g., RN, ADN, BSN, APRN, etc.) with an interest in preceptorship are encouraged to participate.
This Preceptor Training Series will be held in a virtual setting via Zoom.

Join the Lunch and Learn on Human-Centered Clinical Education - Integrating Emotional Intelligence, Psychological Safety, and Neurodiversity.
This education will be presented by Deborah Center, PhD, MSN, RN, CNS, CTA-CC. Deb serves as Chief Program Officer at the Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence, where she facilitates recruitment and retention, leadership, faculty development, and interdisciplinary team programs. With over 40 years in nursing and healthcare, she has held roles ranging from clinical practice, academia, and executive leadership. Dr. Center facilitates the Clinical Scholar program used for the HRSA Region 8 Clinical Faculty and Preceptor Academy. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing as a Critical-care Clinical Nurse Specialist and a PhD in Organizational Development and Leadership Psychology, focusing on executive coaching and healthy work environments. She completed certified coaching and holds several certifications in emotional intelligence, neurodiversity, trauma-informed care, and team dynamic assessments. Dr. Center is dedicated to fostering retention and belonging in healthcare, addressing issues like incivility. Her efforts aim to create sustainable, healthy work environments, underpinned by evidence-based practices and
leadership development.
